Overview

The Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science (PGDDS) is a comprehensive and industry-oriented program designed to develop practical skills in data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making.

This program equips students with the knowledge and technical expertise required to collect, process, analyze, and interpret large datasets to solve real-world business and research problems. The curriculum combines theoretical foundations with hands-on training using modern tools and technologies.

Admission Requirements:

*Bachelor’s degree from any UGC-approved university or college from Any discipline (i.e. BSC, BSS, MBBS, BBA etc.)

Admission Required Documents:

• 2 Passport size photographs
• Photocopy of NID/Passport
• Photocopy of SSC, HSC & Bachelor both Certificates & Mark sheet

Term I

1. PGDDS 101: Programming on Core Python
2. PGDDS 102: Machine Learning using Python
3. PGDDS 103: Data Analysis & Data Visualizations

Term II

1. PGDDS 201: SQL Database Design and Development
2. PGDDS 202: Deep Learning using Python
3. PGDDS 203: Data Science Project

Degree requirements:

📌 Students must complete the following six courses with a minimum of 2.0 CGPA.

After Completing This PGD You Will Be Able To:

• Getting data from database using SQL
• Data analysis using Python
• Feature Engineering
• Machine Learning
• Training Deep Learning Model
• Deploy your Machine Learning Model
• Create dashboards using BI tools like PowerBI
• Best practices in Data-driven product development

Tuition fees Breakdown:

• Admission Form: Tk. 500.00
• Admission Fees: Tk. 10,000.00 (non refundable)
• Tuition Fees: Tk. 32,400.00 for the program (Waiver applicable only on this amount)
  Total cost of the program: Tk. 42,900.00

Waiver on tuition fees:

• 25% on tuition fees (Tk 8100/-) off for UIU graduates;
• 25% on tuition fees (Tk 8100/-)off for a group of 3 or more employees from the same organization;
• 25% on tuition fees (Tk 8100/-)off for the members of any registered professional bodies in Bangladesh;
• 25% on tuition fees (Tk 8100/-)off for ICAB, ICMAB, CA students and  graduates;
• 30% on tuition fees (Tk 9720/- )off for paying full tuition fees at the time of admission.

Note: Students will be eligible for any ONE of the above waiver options.

Course Duration: 24 Weeks

Mode of Payment:

• Installment 1: Tk. 15,000.00 (at the time of admission)
• Installment 2: Tk. 13,700.00 (before the final exam of Term-I)
• Installment 3: Tk. 13,700.00 (before the final exam of Term-II)
